This Friday evening I get the privelage to speak with Naomi Yandell. Naomi Yandell teaches cello and music theory at Stringmoves and has a thriving private studio. Many of her students have won scholarships and places at UK conservatoires and specialist music schools. Naomi is the author of Introducing Theory of Music and the Trinity Theory of Music Workbooks Grades 1-8. She was the ESTA Regional Officer for Cambridgeshire for many years and often writes for The Strad on aspects of teaching.
