Cello Chat with Host Dr. Benjamin Whitcomb and guest Robin Hasenpflug
About the Episode
This week I meet with cellist Robin Hasenpflug who performs as a soloist, chamber musician and orchestral player throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe. She is a roster artist with Magisterra Soloists, performing chamber music concerts in London and Toronto, Ontario.
Meet the Guest
Robin Hasenpflug is presently a member of the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra, where she performs on their CD recording “Momentum,” and the recently released ""Mozart: the Early Concerti."" Robin also plays as a substitute with several symphonies including the Wheeling Symphony, the Erie Philharmonic, and the Youngstown Symphony. She is new to western Pennsylvania, having recently relocated from Chicago, Illinois. There, Robin maintained a rigorous performance schedule as a member of the Illinois Philharmonic, principal cellist of the Chicago Light Opera Works Orchestra, and performing with regional orchestras in the Chicagoland area.
