2024 String Summer Camp

ince 1994, UW-Whitewater has provided a highly regarded, intensive string camp for teenage string players from across the Midwest and nationwide! On average, over 100 campers a year have a memorable week of string playing that fuels their progress for the entire academic year. To keep our camp as accessible as possible, the price continues to be significantly lower than other similar camps. The theme for this year’s camp is Music and Poetry. UW-Whitewater hosts two concurrent string camps: a Junior Camp for young musicians entering grades 7-8, and a Senior Camp for grades 9-12. Activities for the two camps, except for recitals, will be held separately.
